Job Description
Radiant is a startup building a mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactor. They are seeking a Senior Nuclear Engineer to own modeling methods and reactor physics calculations, assess conservatism, and verify assumptions to contribute to the commercialization of their first reactor. The company is focused on replacing existing diesel generators with safe, factory-built microreactors using modern software engineering.
Requirements
- Own modeling methods for neutronics and reactor physics calculations.
- Perform calculations of energy deposition distributions, reactivity coefficients, kinetics parameters, and control blade worths.
- Verify assumptions and assess conservatism of neutronics models.
- Document methods for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist in Verification & Validation (V&V) efforts for the Digital Twin.
