Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply advanced technical knowledge, broad knowledge of software engineering best practices, problem-solving, and creativity to build and maintain software products that achieve technical, business, and customer experience goals.
Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field
- 9+ years of experience in software/data engineering experience
- Excellent knowledge of general data engineering concepts, such as design patterns, with a focus on Big Data
- Advanced understanding of Apache Spark, Scala/Python, and Databricks
- Extensive experience with cloud environments, including Azure
- Web services standards and related technology knowledge (XML, XSD, SOAP, JSON, Rest.)
- Understanding of modern software development, including version control, unit testing, and continuous integration & deployment
- Healthcare technology industry experience
- Agile development experience
- Strong communication skills, with proven ability to present complex ideas and to document concisely
