Job Description
R&P is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to support the U.S. Navy's LPD 17 Shipbuilding Program (PMS 377) in Norfolk, VA. The role involves providing electrical expertise, coordinating activities, and assisting the Hull Manager, as well as supporting shipboard operations and maintenance. The engineer will work directly with the ship's crew, Program Office, and other relevant teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic) related to the job.
- 6+ years of relevant Shipboard Electrical Engineering experience or 8+ years of shipboard electrical engineering experience.
- DoD/Navy ACAT I Program, Amphibious Assault Ship Class and Navy Fleet Introduction experience.
- Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Naval Enlisted Classification Code 4206-Shipboard Engineering Plant Program Manager and Master Training Specialist or Afloat Training Specialist preferred.
