Welder/Fitter

The Welder/Fitter is a skilled, hands-on role responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling metal components in accordance with detailed blueprints and project specifications. This position requires precision craftsmanship, strong blueprint reading skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
