Job Description
Quantexa is seeking a full-time Associate Engineer to join their Research and Development department, focused on their Contextual Decision Intelligence offering. The role involves working on the back-end and front-end of the platform, contributing to both core services and specialization in complex problems. Requirements
- 0-2 years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong Object-Oriented or Functional programming language skills (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
- Ability to approach problems with a big-picture view and work within a system
- Passion and drive to learn and grow within a fast-growing scale-up
- Experience with Scala or TypeScript
- Interest in Functional Programming
- Experience with Akka/Pekko, Cats, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Gradle, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud technologies (GCP)
- Full engineering life cycle experience (design, implementation, testing, deployment)
