Director of Operations, Virginia

Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations for Virginia, overseeing all aspects of field and project operations. The role reports to executive leadership and focuses on managing teams and projects across fiber, telecom, and utility infrastructure. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in scheduling software and field reporting platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications, fiber optic, or utility construction operations.
• Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of fiber splicing, aerial/underground utility placement, and pole setting operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and field reporting platforms.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
