Senior Protection & Control Engineer

Power your future with Qualus in our Substation Protection and Control department as a Senior Protection & Control Engineer. We are seeking seasoned Protection and Control Engineers with 7+ years of experience in major utility substations.

Requirements

• Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence
• Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, engineering technicians, and less experienced engineers
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior level engineers, managers, and executives with current or prospective clients
• Present technical solutions to key customers and respond to technical concerns in a knowledgeable and articulate manner
• Direct and/or participate in client meetings/job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data
• Ensure company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes are followed on all design packages
• Delegate, plan, prioritize, and review the work of other engineers
