Job Description
Provide systems level support in the area of EMC/EMI to support the NASA Spaceflight Programs. Duties include EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit test and analysis. Evaluate test and analysis data and waivers in areas of electromagnetic interference, electrostatic discharge, corona, grounding, isolation, bonding, and wiring.
Requirements
- Degree from an ABET accredited university preferred in the areas of Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with a minimum 14 years of experience, Masters with at least 18 years of experience, or BS with at least 20 years of experience
- Experience in EMC analysis, EMC test planning and procedures, and critical circuit test and analysis as related to space or flight hardware and systems
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and -462 is a plus
- Must be proficient with PC and appropriate software programs
- Experience with ISS hardware and payloads is a plus
