Powder Coater

The Powder Coater applies electrostatic powder coatings to sheet metal parts using manual spray guns and automated coating booths. Responsibilities include cleaning, masking, and hanging parts, applying powder evenly, curing parts in ovens, inspecting finished products for quality, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

• 3 years of powder coating experience
• Basic knowledge of powder coating and surface preparation
• Strong visual inspection skills
• Understanding of material handling
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with coating equipment
• High attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
• Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions
• Able to pass general physical and respirator medical evaluation
