Chief Risk Officer

Qred is a profitable, fast-growing fintech bank dedicated to powering entrepreneurs. We're looking for a pragmatic and solutions-oriented Chief Risk Officer who knows how to facilitate the business with a robust risk management framework.

Requirements

• Plan and lead the second line Risk Control function in accordance with the Swedish Financial Services Authority (SFSA) requirements
• Support and provide expertise to the risk management framework, including policies and procedures, and ensure that Qred complies with relevant regulations
• Act as an internal advisor to other departments regarding risk management matters (e.g. controls, best practices, and industry development)
• Lead the team consisting of a Risk Analyst and the Information Security Officer
• Work closely with other members of senior management to ensure that risk management is integrated into Qred’s overall strategy and operations
• Identify and assess potential risks to Qred’s financial stability and operations
• Monitor, control and report on Qred’s risk to the board of directors, senior management, and other stakeholders such as investors and credit analysts
• Provide expertise in compliance and risk management subjects for new initiatives to ensure proactive identification of risks
• Evaluate results of audits, examinations, and investigations, prepare reports of findings, and suggest appropriate risk limitations and mitigating actions to management
