Sr Mechanical Engineer

Qorvo is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and development efforts of RF power amplifiers for defense communications, radar and electronic warfare applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5+ years' mechanical design experience of subsystems, chassis/LRUs, circuit card assemblies and interconnects of RF and digital electronics for aerospace and military customers
• Experience with FEA thermal and structural modeling and analysis; working knowledge of Solidworks, Ansys and Flotherm
• Experience with military and aerospace specifications, including environmental requirements (design for extreme temperatures, altitude, vibration, shock, salt fog, etc.)
