Senior Java Software Engineer

Qodea is a leading, high-growth Google Cloud consultancy focused on data and analytics, AI, cloud infrastructure, and security. They are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a loyalty platform, driving personalized experiences for millions of users. The role involves leading architecture, utilizing modern technologies, and mentoring other engineers. Collaboration syncs are 5-6 pm GMT, with occasional evening availability.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in developing large-scale Java systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with content from personalization and recommendation engines.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, and other large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Expertise in backend development with Golang a plus.
• Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated experience building robust APIs (REST, GraphQL) and operating in modern cloud environments.
