Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer who will participate in mechanical design, support prototype build, and the production of military and commercial products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering discipline
• 2-4 years' experience in mechanical design (0-3 yrs. with MSME)
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Must have experience with either PTC Creo or Solidworks in the creation of detailed CAD models/drawings
• Proficient using 3-D Solid Modeling software (Solidworks or PTC Creo) and have an understanding of manufacturing and testing practices
• Ability to provide hands on support for building prototype designs, test equipment and perform operational testing of robotic vehicles
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining and welding processes
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Must be able to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
