Performs a wide range of building repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plastering, and locksmithing.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- General maintenance work experience
- Familiarity with University policies regarding building maintenance and security
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and coworkers, and customers
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and stand, walk or stoop extensively
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds
- A valid US or Canadian drivers' license
