Join Purdue University Fort Wayne as a full-time Facility Systems Technician. Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to critical work order repairs
- Identify and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Monitor BAS, temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and assist in logging equipment recordings
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and perform mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic maintenance and repair
- Fabricate, replace, repair, clean, and maintain equipment, tools, and shop area
- Order and maintain an inventory of essential parts and supplies; maintain accurate repair records
- Assist other Facilities departments in performing a variety of tasks based on departmental needs
