Assistant Professor of Animal Sciences

The Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University is seeking an Assistant Professor with research interests in poultry science. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized and extramurally funded research program, interact with a broad range of faculty, staff and students across campus, and contribute to the teaching mission of the department and university.

Requirements

• A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, including but not limited to animal sciences, agricultural engineering, agricultural systems, veterinary medicine or related discipline with all degree requirements satisfied by employment start date.
• A record of publishing peer-reviewed research.
• Strategy to develop a successful, extramurally funded research program.
• Experience teaching in undergraduate and graduate settings.
