Assistant/Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Indianapolis)

Purdue University seeks a tenure-track/tenured Assistant/Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering to be based in Indianapolis, focusing on Autonomy and Controls, Software Engineering, and Computer Vision, with a potential interest in medicine and healthcare. The successful candidate will conduct original research, advise graduate students, teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, and perform service at the School, College, and University levels.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline by the employment start date
• Evidence of initiating independent research (for early-career applicants)
• Sustained record of independent research within academic or industrial organizations, and contributions to education and/or mentoring (for mid-career applicants)
