Puma Energy Bitumen has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking HSSE leader to shape the future of safety across our Australian operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ HSSE leadership experience in high-risk industries
- Bachelor’s or Post Graduate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Proven ability to manage national HSSE programs and drive cultural and behavioural improvement
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS and environmental legislation, Dangerous Goods (AS1940), and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 45003)
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, process safety, and regulatory engagement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and engage diverse teams
- Capability to travel nationally as required (approx. 50–60%)
