Job Description
PMA is seeking a FT Medical Assistant to work in their Sacramento clinic. They are a busy, diverse practice with multiple outpatient clinics offering a variety of specialties. The role involves assisting providers, retrieving vital signs, documenting patient information, and providing patient education.
Requirements
- High school graduation or GED
- Two or more years of related work experience preferred
- Current certification in CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Strong computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Valid California driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Physical abilities and working conditions (sit for extended periods, vision and hearing conditions)
