Public Citizen is seeking a Research Director to lead research efforts and provide technical assistance to partners in the access to medicines group. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise and experience in advocacy, research, and writing.
Requirements
- Provide technical assistance to partners
- Write reports and analysis regarding new developments in access to medicines policy and pharmaceutical business practice
- Develop strategic research agendas in priority areas related to pharmaceutical law and policy
- Analyze and suggest improvements to legislation
- Draft proposed legislation
- Supervise complex research projects
- Represent Public Citizen and the group's strategic interests in discussions with partner organizations
- Help draft grant proposals and grant reports
- Recruit and supervise staff and interns
