Job Description
PsiQuantum is looking for a Photonic Layout Engineer to design, layout, and verify photonic integrated circuits for a linear optic quantum computer. The role requires strong fundamentals in integrated optical devices and excellent Python skills.
Requirements
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Material Science, Physics
- 2 years of relevant work or academic research experience in integrated photonics and layout
- Strong fundamentals of the design and characterization of photonic devices and circuits
- Proven proficiency in Python programming for numerical analysis, data manipulation, automation and photonic circuit layout
- Experience with collaborative code management tools such as Git
- Experience with silicon photonic manufacturing processes and foundry tapeouts
