Job Description
Cognito LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) at the El Paso Processing Center in El Paso, TX. This position involves providing safe delivery of high-quality health care to detained individuals within the ICE system, collaborating with clinical and administrative staff, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies. Cognito is a Mentorship-Protégé Joint Venture, committed to providing high-quality service and delivering world-class healthcare.
Requirements
- Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Current physical and immunizations.
- Access to telephonic interpreter/translation services.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of HIPAA/Privacy Act.
- Ability to navigate electronic health records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
