Medical Records Technician

Cognito LLC is seeking a Medical Records Technician to support the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) at the Port Isabel Detention Center in Los Fresnos, TX. The Medical Records Technician will utilize their skills to provide high-quality health care to those in ICE custody.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Maintains Heartsaver CPR AED certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting as a Medical Record Technician, Unit Clerk, Medical Record Clerk, or similar position
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Current physical and immunizations
