Job Description
Cognito Systems is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The position contributes to the mission of the United States Marine Corps’ Sports Medicine Injury Prevention Program, focusing on optimizing Marine performance and readiness. The role involves providing expert healthcare to active duty military personnel and veterans.
Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or similar degree
- Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)
- Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide health care within the scope of practice for Athletic Trainers per state practice acts
- Five years of relevant Athletic Training work experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms/45lbs
- Current background check and drug screen
