PSA Airlines seeks a Supervisor of Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations, ensure compliance with safety policies, and provide direct supervision of the Lead Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leadership in aviation maintenance, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, and thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
- Successful track record of leadership in aviation maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to guide and manage effectively, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure high-quality, timely completion of tasks
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience working on turbine-powered aircraft
- Thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and proficiency in utilizing applicable manuals such as the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Fault Isolation Manual (FIM), and wiring diagrams
- Proficient in the use of required calibrated test equipment for diagnostic and operational testing of aircraft systems
- Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
