The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of various cargo types by meticulously planning and overseeing transport and delivery tasks. This role also involves coordinating storage and delivery activities, optimizing transport routes and loads, and managing necessary documentation and permits. Finally, the job holder is responsible for managing the interfaces between production, warehouse/distribution centers, transport and construction site, taking into account the coordination of customer requirements and the use of subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in heavy-, oversized multimodal transportation
- Proficient in German and English at C1 level or higher
- Proficient in CAD
- Good MS Office skills, MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Client oriented mindset, focusing on aligning project goals with client needs and expectations
- Proactive communication and effective problem-solving skills
- Team player, stress resistant with strong conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills as well as perseverance and assertiveness
