Job Description
PromptQL is hiring a Staff AI Software Engineer to help build the technical backbone of our AI systems and product, PromptQL. This role exists because we are operating at the frontier of what's possible with conversation AI and we need someone who can think and build at that frontier with us.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience building AI or ML-powered systems
- Experience designing and shipping complex distributed systems at scale
- Fluency in Python and/or a systems language
- Ability to move comfortably between infrastructure, APIs, and core product logic
- Experience working directly with large language models (LLMs) in production
- Comfortable leading technically and mentoring other senior engineers
- Bias toward action and ability to operate with high autonomy
