Maritiem Operator

As a Maritime Operator in the 24/7 shift, you may have to call a ship via VHF one moment and be on the phone with a ship in distress the next. Meanwhile, you keep an eye on ship movements at sea, call agents and terminals, and an alarm goes off on a platform because of a ship or yacht on collision course.

Requirements

• At least completed a mbo education in a shipping direction
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Stress-resistant, can prioritize well, have a large sense of responsibility and a customer-oriented attitude
• Experience as a second or third officer is a plus
