The New Providence Women’s Shelter is a 130-bed 24/7 emergency shelter for homeless women diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
Job Description
The Case Manager will conduct intake and assessments, provide case management services, and assist clients in creating and adhering to their Independent Living Plans. The role also involves collaborating with clients and staff to identify and obtain financial entitlements, housing, and other concrete services.
Requirements
- High School/GED Diploma and experience as described below OR Associate's Degree
- One to two years (1-2) year of experience working with homeless adults, substance use and/or mental health populations.
- Teamwork, Organizational, Interpersonal, Communication, Computer, Bilingual a plus
