We are looking for a temporary Physical Therapist Assistant to support our industrial division with injury prevention services onsite temporarily for a major airline carrier at the JFK Airport. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant and experience in ergonomic and/or occupational health.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations (preferred)
- Ergonomic and/or occupational health experience
- Previous experience with public speaking in a training environment (preferred)
- High degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications
