Job Description
Profluent is an AI-first protein design company focused on developing novel, functional proteins for biomedicine. They are seeking a Research Associate I/II to evaluate and optimize methods for delivering gene editing systems in therapeutic cell types. The role involves developing robust workflows in biochemical and/or cell-based systems and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- BS or MS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
- 0-5 years of academic or biotechnology industry research experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with molecular cloning and mammalian cell culture
- Experience with molecular or cell-based assay development and execution
- Hands-on experience and/or a deep understanding of key concepts related to genetic medicine and gene editing
