Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer who enjoys building modern, scalable, and reliable systems in Amsterdam. The role involves working on a platform used daily by thousands of users, translating complex domain logic into elegant backend components, and contributing to architecture, performance, and stability.

Requirements

• Develop backend functionality in Java 17+
• Build microservices with Spring Boot
• Design scalable solutions that can handle high traffic
• Integrate with external systems, APIs, and event-driven flows
• Optimize databases, queries, caching, and load distribution
• Contribute to architecture choices, security, and best practices
• Perform code reviews, write tests, and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Intensive collaboration with product, DevOps, and frontend engineers
