Job Description
Private Client Select Insurance Services, LLC (PCS) is seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist to join their team. This role involves underwriting large and complex personal lines risks across a national footprint, working directly with business partners and building a strong book of business. The position offers exposure to impactful underwriting challenges and requires strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a personal book of business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Property and Casualty (P&C) and Excess and Surplus (E&S) lines licenses.
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
