Job Description
Prime Data Centers is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical engineering efforts related to data center projects. This role will involve mechanical engineering tasks such as design support, analysis, research, and collaboration with teams across operations and construction. The company offers a dynamic partnership with key design partners and suppliers, focusing on innovation and providing ownership options for data centers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- 5+ years of experience in mission critical and/or data center mechanical design and construction
- Understanding of critical cooling infrastructure
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Teams, Excel, and Word software
- Experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Psychrometric analysis, Load/Energy calculations, CFD)
- Understanding of IBC, IMC and ASHRAE standards
- Understanding of data center industry standards
