Job Description
We are hiring a Logistics Officer for one of our leading clients in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must have hands-on logistics experience within a manufacturing environment and be currently based in Qatar.
Requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials and finished goods
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and warehouses
- Ensure compliance with Qatar customs regulations, documentation, and import/export procedures
- Track shipments and resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to support manufacturing schedules
- Prepare and verify logistics documentation including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and customs papers
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost-optimization initiatives
- Maintain accurate logistics records and reports
- Ensure adherence to HSE and company policies related to logistics operations
