The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, and reducing aging material. This position manages and controls the organization's resource distribution and allocation directed by the Operations Manager for all projects Company wide.
Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of logistics principles, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively oversee logistics operations, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and drive performance.
- Excellent organizational abilities to plan and execute logistics activities, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory levels, analyze data, and optimize logistics processes.
- Problem-solving skills to identify logistical challenges, implement solutions, and continuously improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
