Job Description
As a Transmission Design Engineer at PGE, you will design and execute planned capital transmission improvements, apply engineering expertise to develop designs for overhead and underground distribution and transmission line projects, and contribute to PGE's mission of providing clean, reliable energy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Typically 2+ years of engineering experience for P2 level, 5+ years for P3 level
- Valid driver's license
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam for P2 level, Professional Engineering (PE) license for P3 level
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering and economic principles and concepts
- Intermediate knowledge of other engineering disciplines and ability to interpret engineering deliverable content
- Working knowledge of construction feasibility, procurement, and contract administration
