SDE 2, Analytics

We are seeking a SDE 2, Analytics to join our growing data and analytics team at Poppulo. The candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and data analysis—transforming raw data into clean, reliable, and well-modeled datasets that empower product teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, especially AWS (S3, Kinesis, Redshift, Glue, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring performance and reliability of services.
• A collaborative mindset with a track record of working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Passion for clean, well-documented, and reusable data solutions.
