Job Description
Plastic Molding Manufacturing (PMM) is a trusted leader in American-made innovation, committed to strengthening U.S manufacturing. They are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations and ensure optimal inventory levels, contract negotiation, and supplier relationships. This role focuses on Lean manufacturing processes, ERP implementation, and cost management.
Requirements
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligning with organizational goals
- Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships
- Monitor market trends and pricing
- Oversee logistics of product delivery and inventory control
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with distribution companies
