Pediatric Urgent Care -Medical Assistant (Per-diem) Greenbelt, MD

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support in a pediatric urgent care setting, assisting with patient care, and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff.

Requirements

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations
• Greet and register patients, obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake
• Perform and document routine labs, such as throat and urine cultures (venipuncture experience preferred)
• Assist with patient care within the scope of practice
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the waiting room area
• Practice standard safety practices and precautions
• Provide exceptional customer services
