Job Description
Platform9 is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer (L1/L2) to provide technical support and consultation to customers using their open-source cloud platforms, specifically OpenStack and Kubernetes. This role involves troubleshooting issues, providing remote support, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of Platform9's customer experience. The Engineer will be responsible for a high SLA goal and continuous learning in the areas of OpenStack and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Monitoring ticket queue
- Troubleshooting customer issues independently
- Training
- Virtualization technologies (KVM, libvirt, Xen)
- Networking knowledge (TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP)
- Python, bash, awk, or sed proficiency
- Kubernetes troubleshooting
- Understanding of openStack satellite technologies
