The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial stability and integrity of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with core accounting functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience supporting month-end close processes strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software is an advantage
- Nonprofit, healthcare, or grant-funded experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion
