Job Description
This Senior Cost Accountant role involves providing financial support to various departments within a manufacturing organization, including Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and New Business Development. The role requires strong analysis, variance analysis, budget management, and the ability to identify performance and cost improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will be a decision maker and mentor to a Cost Accountant.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years post qualification experience within a manufacturing organization
- Adept at variance analysis (PPV / MUV / LUV / COPQ)
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and costing
- Self-starter with initiative and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including ERP system knowledge (JD Edwards, SAP, BAAN or Oracle)
