Job Description
This role is for a Category Manager responsible for managing global or regional commodity, engaging with internal stakeholders to capture requirements, ensuring supplier qualification, and developing strategies to improve productivity. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing contract lifecycle, and supporting Procurement teams. Support sourcing projects and supplier segmentation.
Requirements
- Manage regional categories and ensure quality and supplier qualification.
- Develop and execute commodity strategy including spend segmentation and Sourcing Strategy.
- Drive commodity productivity through price, value analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
- Support region/sector NPD Procurement teams with preferred supplier programs.
