Principal Platform Architect

We're seeking an experienced Principal Platform Engineer to lead the design and development of Story's core backend and protocol services. This is a senior, hands-on technical role focused on building the architecture, reliability, and scalability of our platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in backend or platform architecture
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, and service-oriented architecture
• Experience designing and maintaining production systems with high uptime and reliability requirements
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing strategic architecture with hands-on execution
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams
