Job Description
PIMCO, a leading global asset manager, is seeking an experienced Quant Analyst to join their Alternatives Investment team in Newport Beach, California. The role involves partnering with deal teams on quantitative analysis and securing deals, leveraging expertise in fixed income strategies and analyzing alternative asset classes.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics).
- 2+ years of front office quant experience at a top sell or buy side firm.
- Strong quantitative skills, including financial mathematics, probability, and statistics.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python or Slang).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
