Groundman - Underground (DUKE)

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman - Underground position to work at various locations. This entry-level position involves electrical underground distribution system maintenance, repair, and construction, requiring safe performance of challenging physical tasks. The position involves working with energized systems and may involve travel. The role involves assisting with installation of transformers and understanding basic principles of line work.

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) permit (preferred)
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 60 days of employment
• Ability to work for extended periods in various locations
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Willingness to work outside of normal schedule
• Willingness to work overtime
• Ability to climb structures (wood, steel, etc.)
• Ability to work in inclement weather
