C Lineman - Overhead

Pike is seeking an entry-level C Lineman to work on overhead distribution systems. This position involves both construction, maintenance, and repair work, requiring safe operation of energized systems. The role involves traveling to other states occasionally and working long hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of minimum experience
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor
• Ability to identify primary and secondary voltage
• Capable of assisting with transformer installation
• Competent at working at heights and confined spaces
• Understanding of induced voltage
• Capable of making up and using a hand line
• Ability to inspect transformers
• Ability to properly inspect rubber goods and PPE
• Capable of climbing different structures
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
