Job Description
This role is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end architectural design and technical oversight of a major modernization initiative. The focus is on transitioning from a legacy C/C++ system to a scalable and robust cloud-adaptable Java-based architecture. The architect will define the target state architecture, ensure alignment with enterprise objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape a secure and high-performing platform.
Requirements
- Professional Experience (12+ years software/architecture, 5+ enterprise leadership)
- Direct experience with legacy-to-modern transformation
- Experience with Java platforms, C/C++ systems, Oracle 19c, and enterprise messaging systems
- Deep knowledge of middleware, message brokers, and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, HA/DR configurations, and low-latency system design
- Comfortable working with cloud-native and containerized architectures
- Strong communication skills
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
