Job Description
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to assist the Senior Director of Facilities and Operations in maintaining the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems of Museum facilities. This role involves hands-on operational support, contract supervision, and collaboration with other teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. Candidates should be organized, communicative, and knowledgeable in construction drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred) and a PE designation or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with museum construction or related field (a plus)
- Ability to work on a rotating schedule, weekends, and handle emergency situations
- Upholds professional standards and follows museum policies
